General Terms and Conditions

1. General

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Quick Delivery Team B.V. (QDT), based in Amsterdam and registered with the Chamber of Commerce.
By using our website (www.qdt.nl) or engaging our courier, transport, or distribution services, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Services

QDT offers courier services, express deliveries, same-day delivery, overnight delivery, weekend delivery, distribution, and driver rental within the Netherlands, the EU, and beyond.
All services are performed on a best-effort basis, taking into account traffic conditions, customs procedures, weather, and other external factors.
QDT reserves the right to refuse shipments that are dangerous, legally prohibited, or improperly packaged.

3. Liability & Insurance

QDT is not liable for indirect or consequential damages such as loss of profit, business interruption, or reputational damage.
Liability for direct damage to goods is limited to the amount determined by the Dutch Civil Code or applicable international transport conventions (such as the CMR Convention for road transport).
For valuable or sensitive goods, the client is responsible for arranging additional transport insurance.

4. Delivery & Delays

Delivery times (same-day, overnight, express) are target times and not guaranteed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
QDT is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure, such as traffic conditions, strikes, extreme weather, or customs inspections.

5. Obligations of the Client

The client is required to:

Provide accurate addresses and contact details.
Properly package and label goods.
Notify QDT in advance of any dangerous or fragile contents.
Pay invoices within the agreed payment term.

6. Rates & Payment

Rates are based on distance, weight, volume, urgency, and type of service.
Additional costs (e.g., waiting time, tolls, parking fees, customs duties) may be charged separately.
Invoices must be paid within the stated payment term. QDT reserves the right to suspend services in case of overdue payments.

7. Privacy & Cookies

QDT respects your privacy. Our website uses cookies to improve user experience and collect anonymous statistics.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on www.qdt.nl, including the name, logo, and visual identity of QDT, is protected by copyright and trademark law.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law.
Any disputes shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
